Cold Weather Alert service
Exclusive for all homeprotect customers, our free Cold Weather Alert service uses up to the minute data from the Met Office's "Severe Weather Warning" system and is intended to let our customers know of impending, severe weather conditions.
The Alert service has three types of alert:
- Yellow Alert - Be Aware. Stay alert for any sudden weather changes
- Amber Alert - Be Prepared. Take preventative measure to protect your home and belongings
- Red Alert - Take Action. Extended severe weather warning. Take extreme precautions at these times
