I had to make a claim on the building insurance and I found that the firm was very fair and arranged to repair my property and did it well. After all, any insurance is fine if you don't claim but I was pleased with the service from both their staff and their sub contractors.

Had a leak in the bathroom. Put me through to my insurers who dealt with very promptly. Sent two quotes and they checked the situation via video and agreed the damage and paid promptly. No hassle and managed to give it the attention it deserved. Great quick response which was brilliant.

I rang the relevant department regarding the damage done to the Power cable and telephone land line by the fallen trees. Total of 5 big conifer trees had fallen damaging the neighbours Green house and the adjoining wooden fence.

The Insurance company agreed to cover the cost of removal of fallen trees and also emergency cost of removal of fallen tree blocking the garage door (Unable to get the car out of garage) and repair of cables.

The Service was EXCELLENT. They sent the cheque for the insurance claim PROMPTLY.

Really helpful staff on the telephone who took the claim details. I was then contacted back by the insurance company underwriting my policy within 2 working days. After getting a quote for the repair the claim was agreed by telephone straight away and the money deposited in my account the same day. Excellent and professional service that I would definitively recommend.

It was my first ever claim on home insurance and as such was apprehensive. The service was polite and knowledgeable and I was phoned back at the times promised which is a small but very important thing to me as time is hard to find! I was offered a fair amount and the bank transfer happened as promised. In the nicest possible way I hope not to need to claim again but if circumstances require then I would be happy to deal with Home Protect in the knowledge that they will act professionally.

I phoned the claims office regarding storm damage to my roof and spoke to a very helpful lady. She arranged for an engineer to call at my house the next day to survey the damage. On surveying the property the engineer sent his report to the insurance company and I received a cheque 4 days later. Amazing service! Thank you!

I went over to Home Protect last year. We had our electric bikes stolen from a locked garage earlier this year. As they were nominated and had a value on them I had no excess to loose off the insured sum. Gave crime number the following day and a Company phoned me within 2 hours of lodging the claim and we had replacement bikes with in 5 days. Very satisfied.

Sadly after 25 years as a home owner I have had to make two claims in one year. The first was a claim for a fire and the second a broken glass cooker hob. On each occasion the company called me when they said they would and came to a speedy resolution with the minimum of fuss. I would strongly recommend this company. In terms of price I paid for cover, I always do my research and a well known company wanted double the cost for less cover.

It took just one phone call to clarify whether I was covered for the damage to my spectacles. The claim handler was very efficient taking down all the details and promised to follow things up and get back to me within 24 hours. He called me back the following morning to confirm everything was in order and he would transfer the money into my account immediately. Excellent service and definitely a company to be recommended.

I phoned through a claim for accidental damage to my laptop (sorry I did not take the name of the staff member who dealt with it). Once they had checked my level of cover they immediately authorised the repair and transferred the amount into my account within 24 hours. This allowed me to take it straight to the repairer, it was Apple authorised so as you can imagine not the cheapest.I had my laptop back within 2 days. I rely heavily on the laptop so to get this kind of turnaround was fantastic and I was very grateful. Thank you

I accidentally knocked over a tin of brown paint allover the landing carpet, stairs and over the banister to the hall below, I knew I would have no option. The guy on the claims line could not have been more understanding, and helpful and did not make me feel like a klutz! He was calm, patient and clear. The instructions were simple and straightforward, as was the claims process. We were told what to do and how to go about it. The brilliant element was setting up a video conference call (easier than it sounds, honestly) so the assessor could see the damage in our home. We had a fair and reasonable settlement offer within the same day and have been able to order the replacement carpet and paint without delay. Excellent process and has helped with the trauma of the event no end.

Having just had water damage to my property and having to go through Home Protect I can honestly say the service was second to none. I was given a specific date and time when they would come out. They looked at the property and settles it within weeks from start to finish . I would thoroughly recommend Home Protect as a customer who has never claimed before. Leak claim: HomeProtect were quick to contact us via telephone and email and sent the very useful video link which we were able to use. The following day we received the estimate and a sum was credited to our account to start the job. We purchased a new floor and sent a copy of the invoice via email and the agreed sum was quickly credited to our account. I had great service from HomeProtect. Very efficient with setting me up and issuing all my documents. Lovely telephone manner and non-evasive which is great, not a horrible up sell which is ideal. Only mentioning things of value. I like how they care about your cover making sure you are not going to fall short at an hurdle meaning you feel safe that all your belonging are covered and safe.

Damage to my garage wall was caused by a car but no details of the car or driver were obtained. I contacted HomeProtect the following day and they accepted the claim immediately and sent out a loss adjuster who came promptly at the agreed appointment time. Meantime I obtained a quote from a builder and notified the loss adjuster who agreed the quote immediately. Payment was then made directly into my account for the agreed sum less the excess. The process of reporting the damage through to receiving payment was very smooth and quick and I was very pleased with the outcome.

I was surprised and delighted with how my garage theft claims were handled. The team were helpful in telling me what they needed and not over finicky with the details. I was disappointed to note that my cover for the garage was limited to £1000 as it is separate from the house so we did not get recompensed for all that was stolen, but the process was easy, staff helpful and payment prompt.

After dropping my camera I phoned the claim line. The staff were really helpful, and the process was much easier than I expected. When the repair took longer than the stated time, they replaced my camera with an identical model. The new camera and lens arrived 2 days later with a new warranty. Very happy with the service and won't be changing insurers.

I recently rang up to enquire about the insurance cover for a broken induction hob and within hours the claim was sorted and the insurance claim refund was being paid into our account. I received excellent service from Home Protect; no problems when claiming for damage to the house roof and outhouse roof in Storm Doris. They gave me all the information I needed to start the process, advising me to get in touch with a builder to make the roof secure from the weather and advice on obtaining quotes. When the builders found other damage we had no problems in extending the claim. The only problem I had was with the loss adjuster!!

Home protect were great when our children accidentally broke our TV. They were very helpful on the phone and gave us lots of information about how to make a claim. This was the first time that we insured with HomeProtect and our experience so far with them has been excellent. The policy was easy to set and came at a reasonable price. During a severe storm we lost the great number of ridge tiles and also incurred a lot of damage  to gutters where the tiles had slipped off. The roof was leaking causing damp on the bedroom ceilings. We contacted HomeProtect and they agreed to us calling a local roofer to assist. This was very difficult because roofers were in great demand at the time. We eventually found one Who gave us a price for the work which was then agreed immediately by HomeProtect. The work was carried out very quickly and the contractor are immediately. I would certainly recommend HomeProtect to anyone considering taking out home Insurance.

Following a significant storm involving exceptionally high wind speeds, we were surprised to discover that our not insubstantial 10' x 6' garden shed had been blown off its base, rendering it unusable (we couldn't get the door open!) and irreparable.
On contacting HomeProtect we were advised how to go about placing a claim with the underwriter (Axa) and everything progressed very smoothly. Communication was easy and the whole process of arranging the funds for replacing the shed was handled very professionally.

The stone from my engagement ring fell out and was lost at a train station and I was devastated. When I rang home protect they took the details and were great. I was contacted by their jeweller within 24 hours, sent off the empty setting and got a ring backwash a diamond identical to the first within a few weeks. Good, comprehensive cover with very few exclusions. Easy to set up and pay for. I had to,make a claim for a lost iPad and had very little documentation to prove the loss. The claims handler was patient and knowledgeable, and talked me through what was required. After a few days, he confirmed that the claim would be paid up in full, and the money was in my bank account shortly afterwards.

Whilst on holiday our home was broken into and a significant amount of personal items were stolen.HomeProtect were informed immediately by family members and they agreed to wait for our return from South America to make the necessary declarations to the local police as only we were able to know precisely what had been taken. I've been with Home Protect for 2 years now, and earlier this month, I had to make a small claim for damage to my bicycle :( The staff were very helpful and understanding, and processed my claim whilst on the phone. The money was in my account the next day, so the bicycle repairs were taken care of quickly and without me being out of pocket. Once the call was put in to make a claim on a broken pair of glasses it took a matter of days to receive the money for a new pair. I explained what had happened and was told what I needed to do to help the claim progress. Once I emailed the information that was needed the payment was in my bank account the next day. Fast and fair! We had just moved into our dream cottage when we were unfortunately burgled, my pride and joy mountain bike was stolen from my garden shed. I immediately phoned the police who gave me a crime reference and then I called HomeProtect who put me in touch with their cycle experts. My bike was worth more than it was insured for as part of my contents insurance, but HomeProtect waived the £100 Policy Excess and paid out very promptly. All in all at a very trying time I had great service and would highly recommend.

29th December found water pouring out of boiler, in room where I store all my sporting equipment. First concern was to get boiler fixed. This done, I realised that a lot of my stuff was damaged beyond repair, I thought about claiming then thought is it worth the hassle but then as I went through the damaged stuff I thought this will cost a lot to replace. So made the call spoke to a delightful young lady who explained everything to me then went ahead with listing the items lost. She checked the prices on the internet and came to a figure that was agreeable. The whole process was pleasant and friendly and I can recommend homeprotect.

I was very pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to make our claim. Even over the Christmas holiday period they were incredibly fast to respond and so pleasant to deal with. The representative was so helpful. He asked questions about what had happened and was then able to provide me with a settlement figure within 10 minutes. He was not at all judgemental about our error with our dishwasher and was so reassuring. I spoke to him at about 4pm and the settlement money was in my bank account before 11am the next day. We returned home late evening to find alarm ringing. Back door had been forced open, lock smashed. Called HomeProtect who immediately provided call out details of locksmith. Locksmith on call 24 hours attended that night to temporarily secure the door so that we felt easy sleeping that first night. The item involved was an Omega Watch and it took several months to fix. Throughout, I was kept informed and the watch was in pristine condition when returned. Great service!

I was speedily reimbursed for the cost of my stolen mobile phone. The staff were helpful and sympathetic on the telephone, kept me informed of the process of the claim and paid the money into my account within 24 hours. Well worth having the mobile phone model details as an item on the policy.

From the moment I rang the claim line everything was made easy for me. I was assigned a loss adjuster immediately who rang and arranged to come and visit the house. Once he had assessed the claim he came up with a figure that they thought would be reasonable to correct the damage. I was able to either choose this amount and set my own builder on the job or go away and get 3 quotes and they would choose which one I had to take. The sun quoted was ample to get the job done so I agreed verbally there and then. Within 3 days the money was in the account and I was able to instruct my builder. Simple and quick
